Ivona - "Being a volunteer for IDR has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. I know it sounds like a cliché but it’s the truth. I came across IDR after one of my Twitter followers retweeted one of their tweets, and I’m really glad I did. I’ve come to know an amazing group of people – volunteers - who are selflessly giving their time to help save the dogs that otherwise would face certain death."

Caroline  - "Every single day I am inspired to do my small part in helping to save as many dogs as I - and we - can. It is invariably emotional but my goodness, it’s worth it."

Jules - "I have ‘met’ some amazing like minded people and enjoy the banter we have online whilst working hard to raise the much needed funds to save these dogs in need. There is a serious side to the work – which is the mistreatment of dogs in ways that shouldn’t happen, but this just drives me to want to do more. It is hard work and can be frustrating at times as is any fundraising role, but the euphoria you feel when you reach your target and save another dog, is the best feeling."

Caroline - "We see sad, sometimes distressing images of dogs in the shelter, but following their ‘journey’, literally from the shelter into loving, cherished homes, is simply the best feeling."

Ivona - "I may be slightly biased here, but I think we’re a pretty great group of people who do our best to offer desperate dogs a chance at a better future, while also supporting each other in that effort."
